We were checking out vacant building lots for a client last week in the Village of Oak Creek (Sedona). We were in the hills above the Hilton Resort when we came across a small herd of Coues Whitetail Deer. I believe they are only native to Arizona, Mexico and New Mexico.
These four were bedding down in a brush covered, vacant lot.
